This beloved holiday tradition brings neighbors and visitors together for an afternoon of cookies, shopping, and downtown charm. Wander from storefront to storefront, chat with local business owners, and soak in the holiday spirit while you go. Cookies are waiting at every stop along the way.

Participating businesses prepare 200+ cookies each, so there’s plenty to go around.

Participation in the Downtown Cookie Walk begins with purchasing a $20 Cookie Walk tin, which you’ll use as you make your way through participating Downtown businesses and collect your holiday treats. Cookie tins will be available for purchase at select locations before the event, with a limited number of tins also available for purchase on the day of the event, while supplies last.
The list of participating businesses will be announced in the days leading up to the event. Keep an eye on Downtown La Porte Events’ social media for the complete list.
We certainly hope not! The Cookie Walk is also a great excuse to spend some time downtown, visit local businesses and knock out some holiday shopping while you’re there. Grab a coffee, browse the shops, find a few gifts and make a day of it!
There are public parking lots and on-street parking throughout Downtown La Porte.
We love our four-legged friends, but dogs will need to sit this one out! Because participants will be entering participating businesses to collect their treats, we’re asking that pets stay home for the Cookie Walk. Thanks for helping us keep the event safe and comfortable for everyone!
