Kick off the season of downtown events with Country & ‘Que! This event features local BBQ vendors, a beer garden, a live musical performance by an up-and-coming country artist, and an array of artisan vendors.

A fan favorite, Taco Fest has been around since the beginning of Friday Night Live. This ever-popular event brings in the crowds with local taco vendors, a beer garden, Latin music, and an assortment of artisans and makers.

The perfect luau to end the summer! Cheeseburger in Paradise features local cheeseburger vendors, a beer garden, a live tribute to the musical stylings of Jimmy Buffett, and a market of artisan vendors.

Every event runs on volunteer power from setup crews and booth greeters to parade marshals and cookie counters. Give a few hours and watch the whole town show up.

Yes! Friday Night Live events are free to attend and open to the public. Grab your friends, bring the family and enjoy live music, food, drinks, shopping and more in Downtown La Porte. Individual events may have additional activities or experiences that have a cost.
There is plenty of street parking throughout Downtown La Porte. Some Friday Night Live events may require additional street closures, so we recommend allowing a little extra time to find parking and walk to the event.
Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome at Downtown La Porte Events! Please keep your dog under control and be mindful of other guests, especially children and other pets. For your pet’s safety and comfort, please consider the weather and crowd size before bringing them to an event.
Mother Nature doesn’t always cooperate, but we’ll do our best to keep you informed! Weather plans vary by event and may include moving, delaying or canceling an event depending on the conditions. If weather affects an event, we’ll share updates on our Facebook page and other official event channels as soon as a decision is made.
